IV, 38 pp. Half cloth binding with mounted original cased board. – Description of a room in Damascus, dated by inscriptions on the wall from the year of the Hejira 1174 (the year of the Hegira is the first year of the Muslim era, that is 622 AD). The panelling was removed, and the entire apartment has been reproduced in the Vincent Robinson & Company’s Galleries in London.

Binding sunned and dusty, 2 stamps and a handwritten shelf mark on the board. 3 stamps (museum, library) on the title page, 1 stamp of a museum on its reverse. 1 stamp of a library on p. IV and on the final page.
